Skills Day

Our Chairperson Lyma Kivali met each young mother one-to-one to talk about the skill she wants to pursue, and a Team Lead shared the pros and cons of life as a hairdresser. Thanks to friends of Her Tomorrow 360 Degree, every mother went home with a 2kg packet of unga (ugali flour).

Leadership Workshop

The mothers chose their own leaders and formed four skills cohorts: Hairdressing and Nail Technician, Catering and Food Production, Dressmaking and Fashion, and Mechanical and Auto Engineering. Creative dancing was also encouraged. They lead, while we empower them.
